Adrian Patzi AI engineer, Portugal

hey there, i'm Adrian.

I build AI systems and the products around them

Not research — shipping. Based in Portugal. Throw him the ball.

What I'm building at the moment.

Right now

I’m co-founding Kiin Intelligence with Phil Ilic. It’s LinkedIn Ads intelligence for B2B SaaS, built on an MCP server, so you can ask questions about your ad accounts in Claude instead of clicking through Campaign Manager. I build the technical side: the MCP server, the data layer, the reports. Read-only, always — nobody wants an agent with permission to spend their budget.

I also run Sobrevive, a Spanish-language preparedness site. Scenario-driven articles — what to actually do in a blackout, how much water to store — for the whole Spanish-speaking market. The editorial base is scaled with AI agents that research, draft and review on a schedule, which is the most interesting part and the part nobody sees.

Before this: AI at SNOCKS in Mannheim, an EXIST-funded startup in Berlin, and a few years of learning that the hard part is never the model.

Idea to working thing in a day. Then the long bit.

How it actually goes

The prototype is the easy part. Most days I can have something running the same afternoon I hear the idea, and that's the half people see.

Then the rest of it starts. Data that arrives in the wrong shape. An API that rate-limits at the worst possible moment. A pipeline that fails at 3am for a reason that made sense to someone in 2019.

  1. 01 Idea

Usually somebody else’s problem, described badly. That part is fine.

  2. 02 Prototype

Working, ugly, and in front of them the same day. It only has to be real.

  3. 03 Plumbing

The long bit. Shapes that don’t match, limits nobody documented, 3am.

  4. 04 Shipped

Boring on purpose. If it needs me awake to keep running, it isn’t done.

Most of what I do is plumbing. The demo takes a day; the rest takes the rest of the time, and it's the part that decides whether the thing survives contact with real users.

Try this

this site is an mcp server.

Plug it into Claude and ask it about me instead of reading a page about me. It knows what I've written, what I'm working on, and what I've done.

https://adrianpatzi.com/mcp

Add it as a custom connector, or run claude mcp add --transport http adrian https://adrianpatzi.com/mcp. Read-only, apart from the guestbook.
